Employment opportunity at Western Sydney University

The Behavioural Neuroscience Unit, led by A/Prof Tim Karl, is currently seeking candidates for a Research Assistant position. The $1M purpose-built phenotyping facilities are located on the Campbelltown Campus within the School of Medicine, Western Sydney University. Preclinical research is carried out in the fields of gene-environment interactions in brain disorders and discovery of new therapeutic candidates for e.g. schizophrenia and dementia (for further info see https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/staff_profiles/uws_profiles/doctor_tim_karl). The Research Assistant [Tertiary qualifications of at least BSc (Hons) required] will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of these projects, which involve a variety of research-related tasks including behavioural phenotyping and molecular work.
